There is a science to learning. Cognitive neuroscience which deals more with reasoning, thinking, remembering and decision-making needs to be in play. "There is nothing more human than the human brain" Bill Latham - Author - Humanizing the Education Machine. The stimulation of senses the brain is able to convert raw data into information. The information which is passed on from neurosciences focusing on student brains could definitely help instructors to understand how the brain seeks to interpret information and relationships. It can also enforce knowledge gained by various implementation methods.

it is tremendously valuable to understand the science and theory behind how the brain works. Knowing this information helps professionals align methodologies and concepts with their own work and helps them validate their own personal perception. I consider it adds value to the learning process.
